Safety drill onboard the Delta Queen

What we do for a living;

Linda's job:

Linda is a Certified Nurse's Assistant. Presently works "on call" at the Oroville hospital, and is going to Butte College to enter the Nursing Program there to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She has also worked as a Home Health Aid assisting folks who want to stay at home, but cannot completely care for themselves.

David's Work:

I am presently working almost full-time as the Oroville City Cultural Facilities Curator managing six facilities; four museums, a performing arts center, and the Nature Center facility. I am also helping restore and expand a 1925 Pipe Organ at the First United Methodist Church, Oroville. In addition, I am a Registered Piano Technician, and still do some piano tuning. My previous twenty-year experience was in Historical Industrial Technology specializing in vehicle restoration, including pre-war automobiles and railroad locomotives. Some of my work can be seen at the Portola Railroad Museum . I have BA in Industrial Arts and hold a Certificate in Industrial Museology (Industrial Museum management) from CSU, Chico.
