8. Looking for Self

Notire Busara, as he was wandering through the forest, came upon a monk who
was busily turning over stones and peering beneath.
"What are you looking for? " Notire asked him.

"I am looking for my self," the monk replied. " I'm sure that it must be here somewhere."

"How will you recognize it when you come upon it?" asked Notire.

"I will ask it to tell me it's name", the monk said. " If it is my name,
then it must be my self answering."

"Then which," Notire asked, " will be the answer and which will be the self?"

The monk replaced the last stone and went on his way enlightened.

"The Sayings of Notire Basura" is a work in progress.  As Notire provides inspiration so
will his words will be written here.
