It has been written that on another occasion in another part of the forest, Notire Basura encountered a great stench which was eminating from a group of monks who were engaged in energetic defecation..

Approaching an older monk who stood apart, Notire inquired,<P>
"Why are they so engaged?" 

The old monk pointed at an inscription on a a stone arch which stood half-hidden in the trees. "This is the Portal to Enlightment" he said. "These monks are trying to purify themselves so that they may enter."

"I don't understand', Notire said. "The inscription over the arch says NONE MAY ENTER WHO IS FULL OF SHIT. "Is there not a difference between the bowels and the space between the ears?

"You have no need to enter" the old monk said. "Pass in peace."
