Local Content

Here is a list of interesting websites as created and maintained by my readers.
If you have a personal, non-commercial website that you would like to share, send me the URL (web address) with a request to have it included here and I will start a page of my readers' websites, each with a brief description and link to your pages.

Although quite rural in natures, our community is the home to a number of businesses. Here is an index of them with contact information. If you would like your business included, check this page for information on how to be included.

FREE - Join The Ever-Growing List Of Online Subscribers. The 'Concow Computer Chronicles' changes monthly, and you may forget to stop by to see what's up here. On this page is a simple form (a single window to fill in). Send it off to us and we will E-Mail you when the new article is posted here. In this way you will never miss a single 'issue' of the Online Feather River Canyon News! (We NEVER share, sell, or distribute our mail list!)

Many people have commented that there is an amazing amount of material here to be presented free and without advertisements. Here you can read our purpose for creating and maintaining this website and our online history.

Phone numbers and other contact information of local interest.

Feature Sections

Each month we feature a new article realted to some computer or Internet-related subject. Hints and tips, reviews of software and websites, various technological how-tos, and more.
This feature is brought to you by ChoiceNet Connections
Oroville's locally-owned Internet Service Proivider.

This is your Editor's column. You never know what you will find here. Most of the time it is just a bit of rambling over the last month's events or the trials and tribulations of maintaining this site, but every once in a while I post some personal rant, political editorial, or whatever I have in me that's got to come out.

Local events that might be of interest to our community members are listed here.
If you would like your event listed, simply E-Mail your event's details and I will consider it for listing here. Any non-commercial, and all non-profit Northstate events that may interest our community members can be included. Be sure to include all pertinent information such as date, time, location, etc.

The FRCN is a monthly paper so sometimes we can't get in on news items of community interest that take place between issues. Watch here for 'Late Breaking' Community News.
