Welcome to the Cooley Band Website
When Robert C. Cooley Middle School opened in 2000, the
band had less than thirty sixth and seventh grade students. Since then,
the band has grown to over one hundred and twenty students consisting of
three periods of band plus a before-school jazz band.

including performances for the , Hurricane Katrina Relief Benefit Concert
at Woodcreek High School, Roseville Arts Faire, Red Ribbon Contest Dinner,
Safeway Grand Opening, the California
Readers Convention in downtown Sacramento and numerous school concerts,
rallies, and festivities.
For the past seven years, numerous Cooley students have
participated in the California Music Educator's Association, Middle School
and Sixth Grade Honor Band. The band has participated in the Golden Empire
Music Festival, Oakmont Band Festival, and Reno Jazz Festival, earning Good,
Excellent, and Superior Marks. They took third place at both the 2007 and
2008 Woodcreek High School Jazz Festival and fourth place at the 2005 Golden
